Student leader Mahto breaks water fast at Wangchuk's plea, but keeps hunger strike going in Jharkhand
Devendra Nath Mahto, a student leader in Jharkhand, has been protesting with an indefinite hunger strike to demand a probe into alleged irregularities in the JPSC, JSSC CGL, and other competitive exams. On Wednesday, he finally drank water after activist Sonam Wangchuk requested him to do so. Despite this, Mahto clarified that his hunger strike remains active and he will not eat anything until the government takes action on their concerns.
