Strait of Hormuz shipping drops to levels seen before US-Iran deal

Ship movements in the Strait of Hormuz have declined once more as friction between the US and Iran intensifies. On July 12, just 14 ships were recorded passing through the strait, a decrease from the 24 vessels seen on July 11 and 19 on July 10. This is the lowest volume of traffic since June 14, which was three days prior to the signing of the peace accord between the US and Iran.
