Srinagar Airport to remain open daily after weekly closure plan is scrapped
Officials confirmed on Saturday that the plan to close the Srinagar Airport runway once a week has been canceled, meaning flights will now run every day. Previously, a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) had suggested shutting down the runway completely on Mondays and Tuesdays. However, the airport will still undergo maintenance during night hours, which is scheduled to last until October 2026.
