SpiceJet and its Managing Director Ajay Singh have promised the Delhi High Court that they will clear a payment of ₹140 crore to Kalanithi Maran and his firm, KAL Airways, as part of their ongoing arbitration battle. The agreed-upon plan involves an upfront payment of ₹50 crore within 45 days, followed by the remaining ₹90 crore to be paid over the subsequent 90 days. The court has set September 21 as the date for the upcoming hearing.
