South Korea uses drones to alert farmers about extreme heat

To help lower the number of heat-related health issues, South Korean officials are using drones equipped with thermal cameras and loudspeakers to issue twice-daily warnings to farmers. As temperatures have reached as high as 41.2 degrees Celsius, the drones are being used to advise people against spending long periods working outdoors. The devices play messages such as, "There is a heatwave alert, so be careful" and "Don't work for long hours."
