Slovakia's Richard Raši samples thekua presented by PM Modi
Richard Raši, the Chairman of the National Council of Slovakia, enjoyed the thekua that was given to him by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Thekua is a classic Bihari delicacy prepared using ghee, fennel seeds, jaggery, and wheat flour. Upon opening the package and trying the sweet, Raši mentioned that its flavor was similar to that of traditional Slovak biscuits. In a reciprocal gesture, he presented PM Modi with a box of Piešťany wafers.
