Serena Williams posts image of syringes following Wimbledon withdrawal
After pulling out of the Wimbledon 2026 doubles tournament because of a knee issue, Serena Williams provided an update on her condition via Instagram. Regarding one of the images she uploaded, the 44-year-old explained, "The photo of the syringes shows the fluid they drained from my knee after my singles match!" She further noted, "The good news is my knee shouldn’t swell."
