Sensex climbs 230 points, Nifty rises 59 following two weeks of decline
Domestic stock markets started the day in the green on Monday. The Sensex climbed 230 points to reach 77,771, while the Nifty moved up by 59 points to hit 24,311. This recovery comes after the indices saw losses for two consecutive weeks. Despite the jump, market participants are staying careful due to the potential for US sanctions against Iran. Meanwhile, Brent crude prices dipped by 2%, though they are still hovering around $93 per barrel following a 13% increase over the past fortnight.
