SEBI Chief: No signs of manipulation in new closing auction session
SEBI Chairperson Tuhin Kanta Pandey stated that the regulator has not detected any signs of manipulation within the recently launched closing auction session (CAS), which is used to set closing prices. He noted, however, that SEBI is keeping a close watch on the data. The new system has raised worries regarding sudden price fluctuations, reduced market activity, and financial setbacks for certain participants.
