SC judge urges CJI Surya Kant to replace Rajasthan HC chief
Justice Sandeep Mehta, a Supreme Court judge, has written to CJI Surya Kant requesting the appointment of a Chief Justice from a different state to lead the Rajasthan High Court. He claimed that Acting Chief Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma is abusing his authority and altering case schedules to benefit "rich litigants". Mehta also asserted that "corruption and favouritism" are being ignored even though there is "damning evidence" present.
