Satwik-Chirag advance to World Badminton Championship round of 16 via walkover
India's leading men's doubles team, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, have moved into the pre-quarterfinals of the 2026 Badminton World Championships following a walkover in the round of 32. After getting a bye in the opening round, the pair was set to compete against Scotland's Alexander Dunn and Adam Pringle. The match was called off after the Scottish duo pulled out due to an injury sustained by Dunn.
