Sarvam AI appoints xAI's Devendra Chaplot as advisor
Bengaluru-based artificial intelligence firm Sarvam has brought on Devendra Singh Chaplot as a part-time advisor, who joins from Elon Musk’s xAI. Prior to his tenure at xAI, which began this March, Chaplot was a founding member at both the AI startup Mistral and the Thinking Machines Lab, led by former OpenAI CTO Mira Murati. This development follows Sarvam's recent expansion with a new office in San Francisco.
