According to a Reuters report, Samsung Electronics has implemented job cuts within its US smartphone, display, and consumer electronics divisions. The move impacts 739 staff members based in New Jersey as the company transitions its American headquarters to Texas. Samsung stated that while a majority of the impacted personnel were given the option to relocate, others were let go. Additionally, the firm terminated approximately 100 employees at its office in Plano, Texas.
