Russian General linked to Kyiv hospital attack shot in the head
Major General Nikolai Varpakhovich of Russia, alleged by Ukrainian officials to have directed a missile attack on a children's medical facility in Kyiv, was reportedly struck by gunfire in the head on Thursday in the country's northwest. Reports indicate Varpakhovich is in critical condition and receiving medical care.
