Russia begins importing petrol from India

According to a Reuters report, Russia has begun sourcing petrol from India to address local fuel scarcity resulting from Ukrainian strikes on its oil refineries. This move represents a shift in the traditional energy trade dynamic between the two nations. Industry insiders noted that India, which ranks as the second-largest importer of Russian crude, has already shipped 60,000 metric tonnes of petrol to Russia.
