RPF personnel now patrolling Chennai station on electric scooters
The Ministry of Railways has announced that Railway Protection Force (RPF) staff at Chennai Central Station have started using electric mobility scooters for their patrols. According to the ministry, these scooters allow officers to reach passengers in need more quickly and patrol larger sections of the station with improved response times. The ministry also posted a video showing RPF officers riding the white scooters around the station premises.
