A 56-year-old former soldier named VG Santhosh Kumar was discovered deceased in his Alappuzha, Kerala home, with the body in a state of decomposition. Local residents contacted the police upon detecting a strong odor coming from the property. Santhosh Kumar resided by himself and was previously seen on August 8. Law enforcement officials forced entry into the house, retrieved the remains, and transported them to Alappuzha Medical College Hospital. An inquiry into the incident is currently ongoing.
