Research suggests high chilli pepper intake linked to oesophageal cancer risk
A new study indicates that individuals with a high intake of chilli peppers face a significantly greater risk of developing oesophageal cancer, although the link to stomach and colorectal cancers remains uncertain. Experts emphasized that these results do not confirm that chilli peppers are a direct cause of cancer. The analysis incorporated data from 14 observational studies, covering a total of over 11,000 participants.
