Before his 2015 match against Terrel Williams, Puerto Rican fighter Prichard Colón maintained a perfect professional record of 16 wins, 13 of which were knockouts. During that bout, the 33-year-old was struck multiple times illegally on the back of his head. He collapsed after the match and was found to have a subdural haematoma. Colón was in a coma for 221 days and lived in a vegetative state for the remainder of his life.
