Squadron Leader Ajay Ahuja holds the distinction of being the first Indian Air Force officer to lay down his life during the Kargil conflict. He went above and beyond the call of duty, ultimately giving his life in an effort to save Flight Lieutenant Nachiketa after he became stuck close to enemy lines. Ahuja was taken prisoner by Pakistani forces, and his remains were handed back to India the following day. Actor Siddharth is set to portray the courageous officer in the film 'Operation Safed Sagar'.
