Reliance Industries' valuation now nears the combined worth of India's top 5 IT companies
The total market value of India's five biggest IT companies—TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCLTech, and Tech Mahindra—has fallen by 46.2%. Their valuation dropped from a high of ₹33.71 lakh crore in August 2024 to ₹18.15 lakh crore, bringing it very close to the ₹17.65 lakh crore market cap of Reliance Industries. Meanwhile, RIL, which remains India's most valuable firm, has seen its own value decline by 16.7% since reaching a peak of ₹21.19 lakh crore in June 2024.
