Egypt is not a part of the Mecca defense agreement involving Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan. According to a Moneycontrol report, Saudi Arabia has blocked Egypt's inclusion in the coalition. Although Saudi Arabia has extended $25 billion in financial aid to President Sisi’s administration, the kingdom is reportedly unhappy with the lack of sufficient support in return. Additionally, Egypt’s growing relationship with India may be contributing to its exclusion, given that Pakistan is a member of the pact.
