Reason behind Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's exclusion from India U-19 Australia tour
The 15-year-old batting talent Vaibhav Sooryavanshi did not make the cut for the India Under-19 team set to face Australia. According to reports, his absence is due to a BCCI rule that restricts cricketers from participating in more than one U-19 World Cup. Since he already featured in the 2026 U-19 World Cup, the selection committee is focusing on developing a new roster. Notably, Sooryavanshi has already represented the senior side in six T20Is and is currently included in the squad for the Asian Games.
