Doctors at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi have completed a successful liver transplant for a 7-month-old infant from Trinidad and Tobago. The baby was battling a scarce genetic liver condition. A portion of the mother's liver was used for the transplant. Following the procedure, the infant showed positive signs of recovery and was sent home after 15 days, representing a significant achievement in paediatric surgery.
