Rajasthan High Court bans junk food near schools to protect younger generations
The Rajasthan High Court has addressed several issues impacting Gen Z, Gen Alpha, and Gen Beta, such as the prevalence of junk food near educational institutions, increased screen usage, exam paper leaks, and inadequate facilities in rural schools. As part of the ruling, the court prohibited the sale of junk food in school cafeterias and within a 50-metre radius of school entrances. Furthermore, officials have been instructed to improve the infrastructure and address deficiencies in government schools located in remote and rural areas.
