Raj Thackeray objects to PM's photo being displayed next to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
MNS leader Raj Thackeray has stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s picture should not be displayed in the same line as the portraits of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, BR Ambedkar, and Mahatma Jyotirao Phule. He emphasized that these three figures occupy a special status in the history of Maharashtra. This statement followed an incident at the government polytechnic institute in Pune, where MNS workers and his son, Amit Thackeray, took down a photograph of the PM that had been hung alongside a portrait of Shivaji Maharaj.
