Rahul Gandhi challenges Allahabad HC order for CBI, ED probe into assets in Supreme Court
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has approached the Supreme Court to contest a ruling by the Allahabad High Court, which had instructed the CBI and ED to investigate claims regarding his alleged disproportionate assets. The High Court had stated that both agencies were free to proceed as per legal requirements. A Supreme Court bench headed by CJI Surya Kant is expected to take up the case on August 17.
