A consumer commission in Puducherry has directed Mahindra and its dealer to pay ₹10.81 lakh to a customer. The ruling comes after the company failed to provide a vehicle that had been fully paid for nearly 12 years ago. The commission found both the manufacturer and the dealership guilty of service deficiencies. They have been ordered to issue a refund along with interest and additional compensation, underscoring that buyers have the right to seek legal recourse when firms do not fulfill their promises.
