Protesters target Google's Vizag data centre project with 'Can't drink DATA' signs
Google is facing local opposition to its $15-billion data centre project in Visakhapatnam. Residents argue that the development was rushed without properly assessing the potential impact on local water resources and wildlife. During the demonstration, which included both activists and children, participants displayed banners reading "We cannot drink DATA" and images of handcuffs placed over the Google logo. This facility represents Google's most significant investment in India to date.
