Prashant Kishor vows to quit politics if he fails to meet election pledges

Prashant Kishor, the founder of the Jan Suraaj Party and winner of the Bankipur by-election, declared that he will stop seeking votes if he does not fulfill his commitments. His pledges include increasing the free ration allocation from 4 kg to 5 kg, upgrading government schools to a higher standard within 12 months, and ensuring employment for at least one person in every one of the 10,000 families.
