On Saturday, PM Narendra Modi launched India's first greenfield integrated refinery-cum-petrochemical complex in Pachpadra, located in Rajasthan's Balotra. Built by Hindustan Petroleum in partnership with the state government, the 9 MMTPA facility cost more than ₹79,450 crore and is designed to strengthen energy security. This complex is part of a larger set of regional development initiatives valued at ₹1.06 lakh crore introduced by PM Modi.
