Physicist Deepak Dhar receives prestigious 2026 Dirac Medal
The International Centre for Theoretical Physics has honored Indian physicist Deepak Dhar with the 2026 Dirac Medal. This award, which dates back to 1985, has previously been presented to renowned figures such as Stephen Hawking. Dhar, a native of Uttar Pradesh, previously worked as a teaching assistant for the iconic physicist Richard Feynman during his time in California.
