PhonePe tops July UPI market with 10.86 billion transactions, securing nearly 50% share
PhonePe emerged at the top of UPI transactions in July, recording 10.86 billion transactions, which accounted for almost half of the total 23.66 billion transactions valued at ₹29.88 lakh crore. Google Pay held onto its second position by registering 7.65 billion transactions, marking an increase from the 7.41 billion recorded in June. Paytm stayed in third place with 1.90 billion transactions, rising from 1.80 billion in June, as per data from the NPCI.
