Data from FundsIndia Research shows that the Nasdaq-100 was the top wealth generator across 10, 15, and 20-year periods, providing returns of 26.5%, 26%, and 21.3% in that order. Within the Indian equity market, the Nifty Midcap 150 TRI stood out with the best 20-year performance at 16.3%. During this same timeframe, gold saw returns of 13.9%, whereas real estate investments yielded 7.9%.
