Paytm Payments Bank to cease operations by July 8 per Delhi HC order
The RBI has stated that the Delhi High Court has directed Paytm Payments Bank to shut down its business activities starting July 8. This decision follows the central bank's move to revoke the company's banking license back in April. According to the announcement, former SBI Chief General Manager Girikumar M Nair has been named the Official Liquidator and will assume board authority beginning on that date.
