Paresh Rawal asks Maharashtra CM not to move FDA head during restaurant inspections
Actor Paresh Rawal has requested Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to ensure FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe remains in his current role while he continues his inspection drive against popular Mumbai eateries. Rawal stated that Mundhe must not be transferred or moved out of his position. Since assuming his role in May 2026, Mundhe has revoked the licenses of 56 dining establishments, which includes the century-old Noor Mohammadi Hotel. Throughout his two-decade career, Mundhe has faced 25 transfers.
