Pakistani mother and son detained in Karnataka for illegal stay; obtained Aadhaar cards
A Pakistani national named Farhanaz and her son, Mohammed Fardeen Khan, have been taken into custody in Karnataka for remaining in the country beyond their visa limits. Authorities claim that although they are not Indian citizens, the pair managed to acquire Indian identification, such as voter IDs and Aadhaar cards, and even set up bank accounts. Farhanaz is married to an Indian man, Mohammad Ayub Khan.
