On August 7, 29-year-old Princess Ilyana Alia of Pahang, daughter of Sultan Abdullah, tied the knot with 32-year-old British GT racer Christopher Lionel Froggatt in Kuala Lumpur. The wedding was conducted according to Islamic customs, featuring the 'mas kahwin' dowry, an exchange of rings, and the traditional 'merenjis' blessing ceremony. For the occasion, Princess Ilyana donned a gown created by designer Radzuan Radziwill and accessorized with the Diamond Tiara belonging to Queen Azizah.
