Over 200 experts caution that AI could displace millions of workers
A group of more than 200 economists has released an 88-word statement warning that artificial intelligence might lead to massive unemployment if companies and governments do not get ready. In their open letter, titled We Must Act Now, the experts noted that AI could see a radical increase in power over the coming decade. They further stated that the economic consequences of this technology could exceed the scale of the Industrial Revolution.
