On Wednesday, crude oil prices continued to trend upward for the third day in a row, driven by growing instability in the Middle East. Brent crude, the global benchmark, climbed 1.4% to reach $85.90 per barrel following an 11% jump over the last two days. Similarly, West Texas Intermediate saw a 1.1% increase, bringing its price to $80.20 a barrel. In the meantime, US President Donald Trump stated that the United States will persist with its strikes against Iran.
