Oil costs climb by almost 4% following US interception of Iranian missiles

On Wednesday, crude oil prices spiked by nearly 4% as the US military reported intercepting several ballistic missiles fired by Iran. Brent crude futures saw a 3.9% increase, reaching $87.39 per barrel, and US West Texas Intermediate crude went up by 3.8% to $82.31 per barrel.
