Odisha removes over 20 lakh names from draft voter list after revision
Following a month-long Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, authorities have marked approximately 20.14 lakh voters for removal from Odisha's draft electoral rolls. According to the state's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), the definitive voter list will be released on September 6 once all verification and hearing processes are complete. Currently, the draft rolls account for a total of 3.13 crore voters.
