Odisha invites public review of updated school textbooks within a week
The Odisha administration has published digital versions of the updated textbooks for students in classes 1 through 4. This move follows the discovery of 1,678 mistakes in the study materials for classes 1 to 8. Authorities are now asking for public input on these revisions, with a deadline of seven days to submit comments. Previously, the state suspended four officials, including the former director of the SCERT, and launched disciplinary action against six other staff members.
