The Odisha administration has initiated a Crime Branch inquiry regarding the development and printing of recently launched school textbooks, following the discovery of 1,678 errors. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has instructed the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) to lodge an FIR to identify those criminally responsible. These inaccuracies, identified across 55 different textbooks, previously resulted in the suspension of several high-ranking education department officials.
