Norway coach Stale Solbakken once declared clinically dead following 2001 heart attack
Stale Solbakken, the current head coach of Norway, experienced a cardiac arrest while training with FC Copenhagen back in 2001. As reported by The Athletic, he was clinically dead for seven minutes after his heart ceased to function. Team physician Frank Odgaard managed to revive him using a defibrillator and CPR. Following the incident, Solbakken remained unconscious for 26 hours while being kept on life support.
