Noida residents flee burning building via makeshift bamboo bridge
People living in a four-storey building in Noida's Sector 66 used a wooden ladder and bamboo poles to build a temporary bridge and escape a major fire. The building was home to approximately 50 families. Police have taken the landlord into custody following the incident. Initial reports suggest the blaze started when an electric two-wheeler caught fire while charging in the parking area on the ground floor.
