Following the death of climber Nirmal Purja in a Broad Peak avalanche, his final post on X has been shared. Purja had expressed that completing a climb of Cho Oyu after Broad Peak would make him the first individual to summit all 14 of the world's 'super peaks' two times without supplemental oxygen. In the post, he wrote, 'Broad Peak, I ask for nothing but safe passage up and back down.'
