However, they soon grew anxious as Pakistan faced significant international scrutiny. TRF had initially posted their responsibility for the act on social media just two-and-a-half hours later. Following a condemnation of the violence by the UNSC, the group initiated a 72-hour online effort to scrub their earlier posts and falsely claim that Indian authorities were behind the uploads.
