New rare yellow flower species found in Arunachal Pradesh

Researchers from CSIR-IHBT have identified a new sunflower family plant called Doronicum sanctum, located at an elevation of 4,086 metres in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. This discovery represents the first instance of the Doronicum genus, also known as Leopard's bane, being documented in Northeast India, broadening its previously known habitat from the Western Himalayas.
