New platform 'Bribes.fyi' allows anonymous reporting of bribery in India
A new site called 'Bribes.fyi' is now live, giving Indians a way to anonymously document bribes they either paid or declined to pay to government staff. The platform states that it compiles this information into city-specific data, department rankings, and service statistics to encourage greater transparency. So far, 505 entries have been submitted. In one instance, a user shared that they were prompted to pay ₹2000 for a driver's license at an RTO office in Hyderabad.
